Before the success of ZENG Noodles, founder Tseng Kuo-cheng's entrepreneurial journey was filled with setbacks. The turning point came from his investment in a restaurant called "Guo Hai Spicy Crab." During the SARS outbreak, he met his current production partner, Peng Ching-fen, through a TV program, and she later became a shareholder. His review stated, "The noodles are cooked perfectly, with a great chew. The sauce is an awesome balance of soy sauce with a hit of Sichuan peppercorn numbing. Really nice." This accolade not only put ZENG Noodles on the map but also made it the first Taiwanese celebrity-backed dry noodles brand to gain international fame.

📈 Brand Growth: From Online to Offline, From Taiwan to the World

Riding the wave of the "Tseng Kuo-cheng effect," ZENG Noodles pioneered the trend of Taiwanese celebrities entering the dry noodle market. However, the brand didn't stop there and continued to innovate:

  • Product Line Expansion: It successively launched "ZENG Rice Noodles" and "ZENG Soupy Noodles" to cater to different consumer preferences.
